Our Events

5k Walk

5 mile walk/run in a city TBA where we will walk in support of justice for all and to advocate for diversity awareness in the work place, school setting, and justice system.

Toy Drive

Toy drive during the winter holidays, where we will choose public schools (k-6) to donate to in neighboring cities such as Watts, Santa Ana, Compton, and Long Beach. We may have a teacher/staff in the school fill out an application stating why their school has earned the donation.

School Supplies

Select public schools (K-6) in marginalized communities, where we can donate 100s of backpacks including essential school supplies (colorful pencils, art materials, etc.)

Young Women’s Symposium

Day-long event where young girls can meet and interact with successful, exceptional female leaders that the girls in these communities can relate to.

Mentorship & Leadership Training

Create a platform where young boys who may not have a present father/male figure at home can learn how to tie a tie, mechanics, sports and other activities.

Health & Fitness

Organize workshops lead by nutritionist and health experts to do Q&A and clarify any misinformation regarding healthy eating, importance of exercise, and to educate the community on relationship between minority group status and health disparities.

Financial Literacy

Provide financial workshops for young adults to learn about the importance of credit building, process and requirements for purchasing a home, and investments.

College Readiness

How to maneuver through the college and financial aid application.

Turkey Giveaway

Nominated families in need will receive a turkey and or/ham, a basket with a variety of Thanksgiving dinner staples, and a dessert.

About Us

Our Mission: Maintain a stream of fundraising events that will allow marginalized groups in our community to receive gratuitous resources such as training on finances, healthy living, technology and much more!

Our Vision: Strengthen the relationship between marginalized communities and the economic and political systems that are created to serve them.

Our Team

The team is composed from individuals of all walks of life. We are all motivated to make an impact in different sectors from Ending Police Brutality, Education Equality, Equal Housing, Black Lives Matters, Children and Family Services, Youth Development, and Crisis Services down to local issues. We have all been directly impacted or a close family member has been a victim of the above matters. Walk With Us Organization is a platform in which our team can impact the community and help causes in a monetary and/or service way. The team has been together since 2012 and will continue to work together and walk alongside those in need.
